Lake Sorapis

Is the colour of this lake really real? And how: The whitish rock dust from the glacier of the same name gives this mountain lake its light turquoise colour and thus a Caribbean appearance. The lake in the Belluno Dolomites can be reached from Passo Tre Croci via a challenging hiking trail through the forest and on rock faces. Those who are able to make the effort will be rewarded with a unique postcard motif.
