Starting from the head of the valley at 1465 m, cross the bridge and follow trail marker No. 12. Passing the Schlosserhof farm, you reach an information board regarding the circular trail to follow, called the "Ox Trail." From there, proceed on the right side, following the Talblickweg path, which leads to the hamlet Ackerle. Once you reach the parking lot of the Stumpfalm hut, continue along the road to the right, which leads back to the starting point. With good weather conditions the trail is perfectly suited for a pleasant afternoon walk, especially because it is very sunny.

The starting point of the hike is located in St. Magdalena in the Gsiesertal Valley.
