From the Head of the Valley in the Gsiesertal Valley – St. Magdalena (1460 m, paid parking), hike along forest trail no. 53 to the Weißbachalm (2112 m, no refreshments) and continue via the Alpini Steig trail to the Hinterbergkofel (2726 m). From there first follow trail no. 53B and then descend via trail no. 53 to the Staller Saddle (2089 m, A). Return as ascent back to St. Magdalena, variant via Hallscharte (2549 m, trail no. 53).

The starting point of the tour is located in St. Magdalena in the Gsiesertal Valley.
