From the Head of the Valley in the Gsiesertal Valley – St. Magdalena (1465 m, paid parking), follow the G markings along forest trail no. 49 to the Messnerhütte (1660 m, refreshments available), Kradorfer Alm (1704 m, refreshments available), Oberbergalm (1975 m, refreshments available) and further to the Gsieser Törl (2205 m). From there take the newly laid-out former Shepherds’ and Hunters’ Trail no. 49 up to the Hochkreuz (2739 m).

Descent: via trail no. 12 through the Pfoital valley to the Talschlusshütte (1465 m).

The starting point of the tour is located in St. Magdalena in the Gsiesertal Valley.
