From Gsiesertal Valley – St. Magdalena, Head of the valley 1465 m, hike across country, always on the edge of the ski run and past the beautiful “Hackler Farms”, until you reach the alpine path at the hamlet “Ampfertal” or with the car till the hamlet "Huben". Watch out for the signpost “Ascht” with number 10. After approximately 1 hour and a quarter reach your first destination, the Ascht Alm at 1950 m (rest point). There, enjoy the wonderful view of no less than 16 alpine buildings surrounding you. A great offer for tobogganists: for whom the descent is too short from this destination, can take their toboggans another 200 m in altitude to the Pfinnhütten at 2152 m and sledge down to St. Magdalena from there.
