From the head of the valley in Gsiesertal Valley – St. Magdalena at 1465 m (refreshment stop, paid parking), at the entrance to the Pidig Valley, follow trail No. 49 further into the valley, passing the typical pair farms along the sunny left side. The following ascent is balanced by the stunning natural scenery. At a sharp left turn, the alpine path nearly touches the edge of the stream. From here, the Kradorfer Alm 1704 m is already visible. Refreshment stop.
